We have numerous great buffalo hunting options throughout Mozambique (Moz) to include the Niassa, the Delta, etc! Moz offers some unique buffalo hunting opportunities, the Delta in particular...and a multitude of other species / hunting adventures that are rarely experienced elsewhere in Africa!!! If wild, adventure and scenery is your gig...Moz has it all!
Now we start separating the men, from the boys!!!
OPTION 1: Niassa - Northern Mozambique
We have two specific areas where we focus on Buffalo, and the rare plains game offered in Moz. Both are excellent areas, great camps and also exceptional Cat areas (for those interested) These areas offer bulls in the 40" range... but generally old "dagga boy"...with a few over 45", and our biggest at 49.5".
One area is Located inside the Niassa National Park, with a fancy camp, great staff and hunting galore.
10 Day Hunts - 1x1 = $22,500.00 & 2x1 = $21,000 each
Here everything is included (extra fees of $1,750) rifle import, Hunting License, transport of trophies to the exporter, and concession fees, except the charter flight.
OPTION 2: Niassa -
Northern Mozambique
Our second area, and our favorite...located just outside the park on the buffer zones. Here we don't have the high park use fees so its a bit cheaper, but still a great area. High numbers of buffalo, and a very high concentration of plains game. Also a very nice camp, where any hunter, of any ability can be accommodated.
10 Day Buffalo hunts - 1 x1 = $18,500 and 2x1 = $16,250
Also all inclusive pricing, and the clients have an option to go by road transfer of $600 round trip (4-5 hours) or we can organize a charter flight too.
Here our camps can take up to 8 clients...so if you have a large group - we can accommodate you all.
OPTION 3: Delta Area
Simply put...lots of Buffalo! Our camp has been upgraded in 2020, so its a very nice layout. This area / hunt is more for the guy with a budget, but wanting a truly wild / remote buffalo hunting experience. Our bulls will average between 36" - 38"...while we have taken bulls as big as 45", and plenty 40"s too. Its also a good combination with a couple of plains game such as reedbuck / Chobe Bushbuck / waterbuck / Bushpig / warthog and Sable! We can also do crocs here...normally 12 - 13 footers.
Guranteed...this is the best "wild" buffalo hunt you'll find at these prices and opportunity!
7 day hunt - 1x1 = $14,500 / 2x1 = $13,500 and groups of 4 hunters we can do $12,900 each.
We can easily take 4 hunters at a time in this camp!
From This camp we can do a road transfer (5 hrs) we also use a camp that you can be good for blue duiker / red duiker / suni / oribi and Nyala.
Airstrip is in the area, charters are not too expensive from Beira, especially if being shared by a group.

MOZAMBIQUE ADVENTURE HUNTING
If you haven't done it yet...but adventure hunting is your thing, you should consider crocodile hunting in the Cahorra Bassa of Mozambique. Much like buffalo hunting...if done right, it can truly be one of the most exciting, and difficult hunts you'll ever do! Ya...maybe they appear to be asleep while lying on the bank, but rest assured they are 100% wide awake. With all senses constantly on high alert, we can guarantee you - the big crocs of the Cahorra Bassa will test every bit of your stalking, crawling, wind gauging and silent hunting techniques...without failure!
Croc Camps - Cahorra Bassa Dam
We have exceptional croc areas, and we get 35 on quota, yearly. We have camps on the north and South banks of the Lake, with a limited hippo quota available for those that seek this specific critter as well.
Both sides of the lake offer great camps, nice boats, and a very realistic chance at 14' - 16'+ crocs! Croc hunting here can also be combined with great tiger fishing in September & October.
Not a lot of plains game in these areas though, but we have a bush camp away from the lake where we can hunt Grysbuck / duikers /impala /kudu and Hyena, plus a few buffalo. Decent numbers of Elephants too...and we also get 2 tags per year.
Then we also offer clients to add a leopard on to the croc or Hippo hunt, if they so choose.
Hippo / Croc packages are our most popular ($17,500) but...but we can't over emphasize the real adventure / hunt, that is croc hunting on its own!
5 - Day Croc hunt (1 trophy croc over 13') = $9,500 1x1 or $8,500 2x1
7 - Day Croc hunt (2 trophy crocs over 13') = $12,900 (1x1)
10 - Day Croc hunt (2 trophy crocs, 2 crocs 10' or smaller - great for leather) = $17,500 1x1
